Wood Splitting Mauls With a Cutting Blade - For Accurate Splits

This is one of the favorite wood tools used for splitting wood,commercially or on the Farm and Ranch wood projects. There are other special tools, like,wedges,axes,hatchets and accessories to complete a wood working project made easier.
My personal preference is the eight pound sure head,and the hickery wood handle.

Available in 6 to 8Lbs. versions in Fiberglass or Hickory Handles. Designed to split and "bust" wood, mauls feature a wood cutting blade on one end and a round striking face on the opposite end. The striking face is intended for driving steel wedges that are used in conjunction with splitting logs.
